Bergh Apton Sculpture Trail

I discovered this great event in the UK that one day I’d love to attend.

It’s called the Bergh Apton Sculpture Trail and it takes place every 2 or 3 years. It is an arts event put on by a local community interest group whose vision and focus are based on merging sculptors with a natural environment to showcase their sculptures.

Private homes and public-owned lands are used to place sculptures on and the visitors meander a trail of 3d markings, or art along the way. Each year there is a theme, and for 2011 it is called “The Journey” and it celebrates the creation and the buidling of a Medieval Church.

Check out the website here.
