Binkley Show in West Vancouver Waterfront Garden
I will be showing my sculptures in a different location during this year’s Art in the Garden Tour.
As the new Low Level Road and Richardson International grain terminal expansion projects are in full swing in our back yard, we did not feel comfortable hosting you all at our sculpture garden. The noise, dust and ugliness do not make for a welcoming environment.
But the North Vancouver Community Arts Council has graciously offered to let me exhibit a new collection of sculptures in the garden of a lovely West Vancouver waterfront mansion. The garden was designed by Rudi Pinkowski, and that is he and Michelle in the garden in the photo above. We were making a reconnaisance visit in March so I would know where to put the sculptures.
As the mansion is a very modern, contemporary design, I feel it is best to create mostly pure abstract forms for this exhibit.
I’m currently working on a new collection and I look forward to unveiling them on Saturday and Sunday, May 25 & 26, 2013 at 2898 Bellevue Ave., West Vancouver, BC, Canada.
You can get more information on the Art in the Garden Tour at the NVCAC website.
I’ll be posting another blog next week to remind you!
