This is another in my long series of abstracted torsos that celebrate the female nude, but the figure appears to be clothed in a slinky evening gown.

My favourite subject for my art is the female nude and here one can see the shoulders, breasts, buttocks, hips, thighs and calves, though all are stylized into smooth, sensuous shapes. The figure’s legs transform into an undulating form that ends in a serpentine edge, emulating the hemline of a dress.

I’ve polished the sculpture and the base to a high gleam so one can enjoy the beautiful colours of both the white Carrara marble and the pure black of the granite.
